Varied wind strengths at Levante Beach make for some great sailing. A gentle cross-offshore breeze tends to blow from the north-west (force 2–3) in the morning, providing ideal conditions for beginners. This generally switches to a slightly stronger onshore sea breeze from the south-east in the afternoon, offering suitable conditions for improvers and intermediates.
Between late May and mid September, Rhodes is regularly frequented by the Meltemi wind, when the wind blows offshore from the west for 3–4 days. Close to shore, the wind is lighter and the water flat again, great for beginners while further out to sea the breeze will be much stronger, offering conditions for some exhilarating sailing.
We have plenty of kit to choose from including: Laser Bugs, Laser Funboats, Laser Picos, Lasers, Topper Xenons, Topper Vibes, Topper CX16's and RS 500's.
We are excited to have introduced six RS Quba dinghies to the fleet, offering a new alternative to the Laser Pico for beginner sailors. We can't wait to get the Sunset series racing underway - additional Lasers are sure to add to the spectacle. We continue to sharpen our focus on youth training with the addition of the classic Optimist dinghy and additional Laser Bugs - a boat that has proved a great means of getting children hooked on sailing.
Group sailing clinics run over 5 days of the week and are tailored to ability. Groups are made up of a maximum of 6 people. Simply come along to a watersports briefing at the beginning of your holiday and sign up to join a group.

We have the latest range of equipment on offer for guest use including small Freeride and Starboard carve boards with a range of sails.
The location of Levante Beach lends itself to varied wind strengths making for some great windsurfing. Typically the wind blows a gentle cross-offshore breeze in the morning from the North West (force 2-3) providing ideal conditions for beginners. Generally this will switch to a slightly stronger onshore sea breeze from the South East in the afternoon offering up suitable conditions for the improvers and intermediates.
Between late May and mid-September Rhodes is regularly frequented by the Meltemi wind. During this period (usually lasting 3-4 days) the wind will blow offshore from the West. Close in to the shore, the wind will be lighter and the water flat - again great for beginners. Whilst further out towards the back of the sailing area, the breeze is much stronger and creates some epic 'blasting' conditions.
An additional 15 boards were added to the windsurf stocks last summer. Starboard Futura, Kode and Flare boards should satisfy the demands of the racers, freeride and freestyle sailors respectively, whilst additional Go boards should make the progression to intermediate standard that much easier for the beginners and improvers.
Returning guests will be pleased to learn that the sailing area has moved slightly, allowing for an expansion in size. This will enable a greatly improved area for launching and landing, a greater opportunity for longer broad reaches, create a better degree of separation between beginners and intermediate windsurfers and allow us to exploit the cleaner wind during Meltemi conditions.
Our team of qualified instructors provide group or private tuition.
Free tuition for all levels of windsurfer is included in the price of your holiday. All you need do is meet the waterfront team at the start of your holiday and choose the right course for you. We'll have you out on the water in no time.

Your safety is important so if you would like to scuba dive, you'll need to complete a medical history form. You may also need a physical check-up. If you're over 45 years of age or have a previous medical condition, please bring a doctor's certificate confirming that you're fit to dive. Whether you can or cannot dive, will be entirely at the discretion of your qualified instructor whose main concern, at all times, is your safety.
Please ensure you check the PADI Medical Statement here to ensure you do not have any 'Yes' answers that may need a medical doctor's advice and signed approval before you can join any scuba diving course. Upon successful completion of your pre-booked dive course, there will be a PADI processing fee of £25 for your certification card. This is not included in the pre-book price.
Please note: PADI dive courses in the Mediterranean resorts can be pre-booked in the UK. All courses booked in resort are subject to local taxes, and are therefore more expensive.
Manuals are mandatory for all PADI courses and can be purchased in resort. A certification fee may also be applicable for your course.
