3* Northern Lights & Golden Circle Classic & Blue Lagoon
What a way to experience so much of this awesome country. On this tour, you get to see what makes Iceland so magical. You simply cannot visit Iceland without experiencing one of the new wonders of the world: The Blue Lagoon. This geothermal spa complex in the southwest of Iceland is a place of stunning beauty, serenity and calm. Then prepare to seek out the Aurora Borealis -The Northern Lights, a natural phenomenon of extraordinary beauty on our Northern Lights Cruise. Last but not least, a full day exploring Iceland's Golden Circle, visiting 3 of the country's most popular attractions in Thingvellir (Thingvellir) National Park: The Lava Canyon, the Geysir and the Gullfoss Waterfall. So much to see!
Day 1 Depart Dublin Airport at 1115hrs and arrive at 1400 Keflavik airport where you will be met by our local representative in the airport before being transferred to the Blue Lagoon. Enjoy 1.5 hours of bathing time and relaxation in one of the New Wonders of the World, before being transferred to the 3* Reykjavik Lights Hotel Reykjavik. The rest of the evening is free for you to enjoy the city at your leisure.
Day 2 After breakfast, you are free to enjoy Reykjavik independently. Why not take advantage of the amazing shopping that Reykjavik has to offer. We all know that Iceland is a hot spot for nature lovers, but the same can be said for shopping!. The city is filled with fashion, books, vintage stores, flea markets, boutiques, outlets, antique shops, gourmet food, Icelandic design, outdoor clothing, souvenir
● and gift shops. Laugavegur is the main shopping street in downtown Reykjavik, along with Skolavordustigur and Hverfisgata, but the whole downtown area is filled with shops, some in the most random places. Icelanders are very creative by nature, and as a result of that, you will find numerous local stores selling clothing, art and jewellery from Icelandic designers. Reykjavik has two large shopping malls where well-known brands can be found along with restaurants, cinemas and cafes.
In the evening you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Ægisgarður pier in the Old Harbour in Downtown Reyjavik. On the tour we will take you out into the dark blue yonder of Faxaflói bay in search for the mystical phenomenon we call the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights, leaving behind the bright city lights of the capital Reykjavík. Our open-top viewing decks provide the perfect platform for witnessing the dazzling spectacle while our heated indoor lounge is a great place to take a break and warm up in between sightings. Our expert guide will be at hand to answer your questions while you enjoy Mother Nature's light show and starry skies wrapped up in one of our warm overalls. Onboard you will find several outdoor viewing platforms and a large indoor saloon with toilet facilities and café where you can buy light refreshments. Tour takes approx 2-3 hours. Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 3 After breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel to go on your tour of the Golden Circle. Enjoy a full day visiting 3 of Iceland's most popular attractions. Today you will explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Þingvellir National Park, follow in the footsteps of Vikings when walking down the lava canyon where the American and Eurasian Continents have dramatically pulled apart. Watch the infamous Geysir erupting, home of the one and only original geyser and Iceland's most iconic natural attraction. Walk down to Gullfoss Waterfall which is a magnificent sight to behold. All this in 8 hours! After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel where you can enjoy your evening at leisure.
Day 4 After breakfast, you will be transferred back to the airport, flight departing Keflavik at 0730hrs, arriving in Dublin at 1005hrs Our package includes:
● Return flights from Dublin to Reykjavik
