● a coach trip like no other!
Day 1 Depart Dublin Airport at 1115hrs and arrive at Keflavik airport at 1400hrs, where you will be met by our local representative in the airport before being transferred to the Blue Lagoon. Enjoy 1.5 hours of bathing time and relaxation in one of the New Wonders of the World, before being transferred to the 3* Reykjavik Lights Hotel in Reykjavik. The rest of the evening is free for you to enjoy the city at your leisure.
Day 2 After breakfast, you are free for the day to enjoy the sights and wonders that Reyjavik has to offer. In the evening you will be picked up from your hotel by coach and you will embark on a mission to see the Northern Lights. They are undoubtedly one of the most beautiful celestial displays found in nature. Northern Lights are best displayed under dark, clear skies. It is therefore important to leave the city lights of Reykjavik. This tour will take between 2 and 3 hours. Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 3 After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Old Harbour in downtown Reykjavik. Here you will meet our expert crew and specially trained naturalists and marine biologist guides. You will then embark on a memorable journey into Flaxofloi Bay where you can search for the whales of Reykjavik. The most common whale species you will find on this tour are minke whales, humpback whales, white-beaked dolphins and harbour porpoises. You may also see killer whales, long-finned pilot whales and fin whales but they are not as common. The Bay is full of puffins and gannets and other birdlife. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel where you can enjoy a relaxing lunch and the afternoon at your leisure.
