Elephant Hills Tented Camp is Thailand’s first luxury tented jungle camp combining the camp idea of African national parks with the Thai tropical forest environment and one of the only luxury floating tented camps in the world. Situated only 2 hour’s drive north of Phuket Airport in the Heart of Khao Sok National Park on beautiful Cheow Larn Lake, This unique tented camp is set in the largest area of rain forest in Khao Sok Southern Thailand. The lush greenery of the tropical rain forest stunningly lights the day and it is possible to take in the magnificent views of the surrounding rain forest covered mountains from your floating tent.
There are plenty of activities to fill your days here, from a scenic canoe trip on the Sok River, to various trekking routes that can match all skill levels, the camp is the perfect base to meet the unique and natural treasures Southern Thailand has to offer.
At night the temperatures drop and the campfires creates a romantic and warm atmosphere, this serves as the place to meet other guests and enjoy your evenings telling stories around the Bar or watching the secrets of Thai cooking. The highlight of your stay at Elephant Hills tented camp is the Elephant Experience, you will get close to and experience these magnificent animals, you will interact with them, prepare and feed them one of their daily meals, scrub and clean and watch them bathe. You’ll help with their overall well-being and plant some of their food which will be ready for next year’s crop, you will not sit on or trek with the Elephants.

This unique tented camp has 30 luxurious tents. The tents provide ample space and are well protected against mosquitoes and other possible intruders. The furniture is handmade by skilled craftsmen using natural materials and provides all the comfort a guest would normally find in a hotel room. There is lighting to read by and fill your diaries with the memories of your days spent in Elephant Hills. Each tent features twin beds, fan, kettle, and a luxurious bathroom with toilet and hot/cold shower.*=local charge
