Gaya Island Resort
Gaya Island Resort is an intimate retreat fringed by a sandy beach, rocky coastal outcrops, and surrounded by coral reefs within a natural marine conservation area. The hilly landscape of the island is covered with lush tropical rainforest and has the stunning outline of Mount Kinabalu, visible in the distance. The architecture respects Sabahan elements and blends harmoniously with the natural environment. The Resort is 15 minutes by road and then 15 minutes by speedboat from Borneo’s Kota Kinabalu International Airport. *Note The Gaya Island Resort will close for essential maintenance works from 14th November until the 15th December, no reservations will be taken during this period *

The Resort (120 Villas & Suite) each uses local materials that blend harmoniously with the natural environment. All Villas are a spacious 47 square metres and interiors are designed with a contemporary elegance and offer a variety of views including mangrove, canopy, tropical rainforest and the South China Sea.
