SEASON'S GREETINGS FROM ALL AT SUNWAY!

Mombasa

1/10

Mombasa

Mombasa is Kenya’s 2nd largest city and its delightful coastline lies on the ever enticing waters of the Indian Ocean. This tropical city is actually an island connected to the mainland by a short causeway. Its long history of a trading centre is evident in its buildings and cosmopolitan population and still to this day the dhows (traditional Arab sailing boats) are seen travelling up and down the waters carrying and delivering goods here and far.

The Mombasa beaches offer naturally beautiful coral reefs, internationally acclaimed dive spots and excellent snorkelling opportunities for all visitors. The south coast is accessible by road and ferry and boasts some of Kenya’s finest beaches including Diani. The beach resorts on the north coast are nearer the airport, reached by Nyali Bridge with Nyali Beach being one of the most popular in the area. Further along you will come across Bamburi and Shanzu beaches. Resort nightlife centers around the various beach hotels who often host their own entertainment shows.

A tropical paradise of palm-fringed white sandy beaches; is there a better way to chill out after your safari?! Popular with honeymooners and families alike Mombasa offers a great range of accommodations. To receive a quote, details of Safari’s and or beach holidays in Kenya, call the experts Sunway and we’ll be delighted to assist.
