Set outside the charming village of Nerano, with rows of authentic seafood restaurants and a pretty pebble stone beach awaits. Just driving distance away is Massa Lubrenese is renowned for its Blue Flag-awarded beaches and charming cobbled stone streets oozing charm. Further afield lies Sorrento, a typical picture-perfect town with narrow streets lined with bustling piazzas and historic houses painted in pastel tones. Lined up with historical sites, museums, galleries and a thriving gastronomy scene – there's plenty to fill up a day trip.
Designed with expansive balconies and terraces, Villa Sea Gem is all about its outdoor living. Breakfast never looked so good on the large roof terrace, where you can sip an espresso over 360-degree panoramas over the hypnotic seascape. Spend lazy afternoon read a book on a sofa or topping up tan on a lounger, ending the day sipping cocktails in the lush hot tub. For some added luxe, there's even an outdoor fitness area with a treadmill, exercise bike and a gym bench if you feel like letting off some steam. Down a level you're met with an incredible kidney-shaped pool, the perfect way to cool off from the warm Italian heat. Dinners here are best enjoyed in the alfresco dining area, where you can cook up a feast on the barbecue or wood-fired pizza oven.
The chic and white-washed exteriors ooze a modern feel throughout the home, with linear straight cut architecture and wide glass windows that let the sunshine seep in. The interiors are bright and airy, with fresh white walls and contemporary décor that comes to life with random playful pops of colour. The ground floor brings the outside in, with the open-plan living area opening out to a sun-kissed balcony overlooking the azure sea below. The living room is warm and inviting, adjoined to the main kitchen which would impress any budding chef. Spread across two floors you'll find three large queen-sized bedrooms and a modern kitchen complete with a dining table on each of them – perfect for a little extra privacy. Each of the bedrooms is light, airy and has its own unique character and colour palette.
