Fully Guided

We are delighted to offer a tour staying for 4 nights in the lovely Hungarian town of Gyor. It is a charming town with a rich history and beautiful architecture. This tour offers a taste of 3 great European cities with a perfect location in the undiscovered North-western part of Hungary.

Day 1 - Travel to Vienna
We depart Dublin Airport for our direct flight to Vienna. On arrival we are met by our tour leader and our local tour guide. We then travel to the Hotel Raba in Gyor where we are based for the next 4 nights.

Day 2 - Budapest
After breakfast we travel to Budapest for a full day excursion. On our city tour we will get to admire some of the many attractions of Budapest. Often described as the “Little Paris of Middle Europe”, Budapest is famous not only for the monuments reflecting its own 1,000-year-old history, but also for the relics of others who settled here. The city has two sides, Buda, and Pest, divided by the mighty Danube River. Pest boasts the largest parliament building in Europe which will remind you of a grander version of London’s Houses of Parliament. Buda has its historic castle and medieval streets and houses. The afternoon is free for you to explore Budapest and enjoy its riverside promenade, flea markets, bookstores, antique shops and excellent restaurants and café houses.

Day 3 - Vienna
After breakfast we travel to Vienna for a full day excursion. Vienna is known for its coffee houses, cosy wine taverns and Viennese charm, where old world meets new. After our city tour you will have free time to explore this wonderful city.

Day 4 - Bratislava
After breakfast we depart for our full day excursion to Bratislava the capital of Slovakia, which is set along the Danube River by the border with Austria and Hungary. It’s surrounded by vineyards and the Little Carpathian Mountains. The pedestrian-only, 18th-century old town is known for its lively bars and cafes. Perched atop a hill, the reconstructed Bratislava Castle overlooks the old town and the Danube.

Day 5 - Fly home
We return home from Vienna Airport to Dublin.
