Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Agadir, Morocco
Your transformative wellness retreat begins with a flight from Dublin to Agadir, followed by a scenic coach ride to the serene 4-star Paradis Plage Hotel. Located on the beach, this tranquil retreat is surrounded by lush gardens and mountain backdrops. After settling into your accommodation, join your fellow travelers for dinner and prepare for the peaceful days ahead.
Day 2: Opening Ceremony and Cacao Ritual
After breakfast, we’ll gather for a welcome ceremony in a private shala overlooking the beach. Christine will guide us in setting intentions for the retreat, discussing our goals for physical, mental, and spiritual wellness. We’ll flow into a yoga session, connecting breath with movement and energizing the body.
Afterwards, enjoy free time to reflect and relax. You may choose to walk along the beach, dip your toes into the Atlantic, or simply unwind by the pool with a book, the choice is yours.
In the evening, join Christine for a transformative Cacao Ceremony. This ancient ritual, rooted in Mayan and Aztec traditions, involves drinking ceremonial-grade cacao to open the heart, foster connection, and promote self-reflection. It’s the perfect way to deepen your mindfulness and embark on your personal journey of healing.
Day 3: Beach Yoga and Surfing
Start your day with a sunrise meditation, absorbing the serene energy of the early morning light. After breakfast, we will take our mats outside for a Beach Yoga session (weather dependent) and ground yourself with mindful movement as the waves crash beside you.
After some free time for lunch, it’s time to try out some of the local surfing. Join our local expert instructors for fun-filled afternoon of surfing. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced surfer, the thrill of catching the waves in Morocco is unforgettable. If surfing isn’t for you, feel free to take a rejuvenating swim or simply enjoy the energizing beach atmosphere.
In the evening, we’ll slow things down with a restorative Yin Yoga session. This practice will focus on deep stretching, long-held poses, and gentle movements to help release tension accumulated during the day and bring a sense of calm back into the body.
Day 4: Paradise Valley Hike and Closing Ceremony
As the sun rises once again, we’ll meet for a calming sunrise meditation, embracing the peace and stillness of the early hours.
Begin the day with a sunrise meditation, followed by a nourishing breakfast. Then, we’ll venture to the breathtaking Paradise Valley for a scenic hike through gorges, waterfalls, and lush landscapes, culminating in a refreshing swim in natural pools.
Return to the hotel for an afternoon of relaxation before gathering for a closing ceremony. Reflect on your experiences and celebrate the personal growth achieved during this retreat.
Day 5: Departure
After breakfast, we’ll say farewell to Morocco’s peaceful shores and head to Agadir Airport, returning to Dublin with renewed energy, clarity, and tranquility.
