Lapland Holiday
I just wanted to thank you and all the staff in Sunway who are involved in organising the Lapland trips for an absolutely fabulous two days this weekend. Rovaniemi airport apart (you would think that they might anticipate a lot of people coming to see Santa at Christmas), the whole thing was set up and run superbly well. I think it might have been you I was talking to back in February when I first booked this, but whoever it was made a really good point: although the adults think that it is all about going to see Santa, for the kids it is a whole lot more: snow, snowball fights, snowmen, sleigh rides, reindeer, huskies and so on. In fact, it is even more than that: our son was extremely excited by the fact that he got a cooked breakfast on the flight over. As he announced as he tucked into it, "this is the life"! From the off, everything was, as my wife would say, "magical". A special thanks to the two elves who were waiting for us at check-in in Dublin and who travelled with us. I have never been on such happy flights with all the singing, cheering and general good humour. Equally, the elf in charge of us in Finland couldn't have been better and everything ran really well; although we are all exhausted this morning, there wasn't a minute wasted. I really cannot thank you enough; it is so easy to be cynical at times, but it was just the most fantastic weekend, and meeting Santa was, though a massive highlight (and again, the Santa there was so good, was really engaged with our son and there was no sense at all of being rushed through), one of many. I cannot improve on our son's comment at breakfast this morning: "that was the best Saturday and Sunday ever." A Very Happy Lapland Customer December 2018

Classic Vietnam Tour Holiday
To 53 degree North, G Adventures and Sunway I would like to say a very big thank you for giving me a wonderful holiday.
Well what can I say of my surprised win of the “Classic Vietnam 10 day Tour“. I could not believe my luck, never having won anything before when I got the call from Grainne in Sunway telling me I was the lucky winner. Vietnam had been on my bucket list for so long and now with great delight I have crossed it off.

What an adventure. It exceeded all my expectations and more. The trip was so well organised by G Adventures. Our guide Dat Nguyen was superb. His easy going and non intrusive manner, his gentle nature and sense of humour made for a great trip. He was well informed of local and national history. He guided and took us to authentic eating places, so that we could experience real Vietnamese life. He reflected the manner of the Vietnamese people we met and he made us feel safe at all times.
The trip took us by all modes of transport, plane, train, boat and bike from Hanoi in the north to Ho Chi Minh city in the south via Halong Bay, Hue, and Hoi An. This trip for me was of making wonderful memories and reliving experiences of my younger days travelling.

It’s hard to say what the best experience was for me . Exploring the busy little shops in the old quarters of Hanoi where we stayed and taking our lives in our hands as we tried to cross its streets. Was it watching the sunrise and the sunset in Halong Bay embracing its tranquillity and Kayaking in its beautiful still waters .Cycling through the Paddy fields of Hoi An meeting the oldest man in the village at 94 where they grew acres’ of herbs, coriande , parsley thyme and spring onions. Whizzing through Hue on the back of a motor bike or trying to negotiate the tunnels in Ho Chi Minh City .

This trip was an adventure suited to all ages. Our group of Australian, South African, English Irish and a New Zealander ranged in age from the 30 years to 70 years. The group was divided equally which was a concern for me prior to going, would I fit in, in terms of age, me being 65, travelling on my own and would I be able to participate in the activities. I need not have worried .I was well able for everything even crawling through the tunnels in Ho chi Minh . I was safe and well looked after.

G Adventures are part of the Planeterra Foundation which is a non profit organisation that helps empower local people. To this end we dined in the “Street Cafe“a project G adventures are involved with. Young people are taught English given a training in the hospitality industry and can as a result make a career in this field.

Once again thank you to all who made this happen for me including the Universe who aligned me with ticking the box to say I would love a trip to Vietnam .I highly recommend this tour, to all who are thinking of visiting Vietnam. You will be well looked after by G Adventures 53 degree North and Sunway, you will be safe and travel with ease and you will experience a trip of a life time.

Sorrento Holiday
We recently returned home from a Sunway package holiday to Sardinia. This was our first package holiday in 16 years and only my second ever. I was sceptical about going on a package having never had any problems when travelling DIY. The reason we chose to go on a package was because we had a small toddler and I am pregnant and also the destination is only available as a package. From the time we landed in Alghero I have to say the rep Antonella was fantastic, helpful and professional. I ended up with a bad eye infection and spent a lot of the week sick. She went above and beyond to make sure I got to the hospital and made the whole experience a little less stressful. She ensured we got good seats on the plane coming home to make sure we were comfortable. This was our first holiday in a few years and so the timing of my getting sick was unfortunate but we still had a nice break and Antonella added to this. Orlando & Clearwater Holiday
We are just at the end of our 2 week holiday in Florida and we have had an absolute ball!! We went to universal studios and islands of adventure and loved it. However the highlight of Orlando had to be Volcano Bay. It’s a brilliant water park!! Our second week took us to the Marriott Suites in Sand Key at Clearwater. I am pleased to say the hotel was absolutely fantastic and the location was spot on. We fell in love with the place! We can’t thank you enough for this holiday it has been a dream come true. Thank you so much for organising all. It couldn’t have worked out any better!!

Morocco Holiday
My mam and I have just returned from a week’s holiday in Morocco. We stayed in the Kenzi Europa Hotel. Your Rep Laila was absolutely brilliant! Laila couldn't do enough for myself and my mam as we have never been to Morocco before. It made our holiday a lot easier known we had a brilliant representative to go to if needed. Club Med La Palmyre Atlantique Holiday
We have just returned from a Club Med holiday in La Palmyre Atlantic in France. We were a family of 11 people - 2 grandparents, 2 sons and their wives and 5 children ranging in ages from 5 years to 3 months old. We were staying in the 3 bedroomed bungalows – we had 2 bungalows next door to each other. The bungalows were very well furnished and spacious and fitted the bill exactly for us. Cots were provided on request and these were a very good size. The food was amazing every day! Lots of variety and such good quality and we never tired of it. The staff in the baby corner were so accommodating and helpful and never minded the mess that 5 children leave behind after mealtimes! Facilities were very good for feeding babies and toddlers – microwave, blenders etc. We used to make up dinners at lunchtime to feed the kids at 5pm and store them in the fridge in the baby corner. The main restaurant didn’t open till 7 pm but the baby corner was always open to go in and microwave the dinners and feed the kids. The GM’s and GO’s were always so friendly and helpful and were always trying to make our stay more pleasant and enjoyable. English speaking staff joined us 2 nights for dinner and were very interesting to talk to. There was a very good outdoor playground for the toddlers – an indoor soft play area for parents and small children for days when it might be raining would be a very good addition to this resort. All in all , we were very happy with our week in Club Med – found it to be a most relaxing holiday and the children were very happy there – which meant we were all happy!! Ms Finn June 2018

Puerto Mogan, Gran Canaria Holiday
I want to particularly thank and commend your Resort Rep Mandy who arranged a special assistance wheelchair for my husband as she noticed he was finding it difficult to walk fast enough on Saturday 12th May when we were returning to Las Palmas from Puerto Mogan for the evening Aer Lingus flight. Agadir, Morocco Holiday
We had a great time in Agadir thanks to Angela and all the team in Sunway Holidays for their help and advice in ensuring that we had a great holiday.
Angela in reservation helped us pick the best option for our holiday and it worked out perfectly so thanks to Angela for her help and efficiency. We were well looked after at Dublin airport after our flight was delayed so it was no so inconvenient as it might have been and we were very well looked after by Laila and our driver in Agadir despite the fact that poor Laila had been at the airport since the very early hours of Saturday morning because of the flight delay.
We loved the Atlantic Palace Hotel in Agadir and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Beautiful buildings, pleasant ambience and very friendly staff made it a very relaxing stay. Any small issue we had was dealt with swiftly and efficiently. Meeting Laila on Sunday to organise trips etc. was fun as she is a very energetic and bubbly personality as well as being very efficient. She gave us valuable insights into how to behave, what to expect and so on. She is a real gem and her big smiles were always infectious! My husband had a lovely chat with Dennis of Sunway too and they reminisced about the old days in London whilst discussing Morocco, Agadir and Sunway's holiday options there.
We opted for three trips, all of which were amazing. Our trip to the Hamman was very relaxing and we purchased lots of Argan oil products as a result of enjoying it so much. Our trip to Marrakesh was awesome, our guide Mustafa was a lovely man who spoke beautiful English - which is what my husband told him, much to his obvious pleasure - and he imparted a real feel for his country and the city we visited along with valuable insights regarding dealing with local customs. The shared food was delightful. The bus was comfortable and clean, our driver was courteous and drove well. We also took a trip to Paradise Valley which was totally amazing and our guide, (sadly I forget his name) tailored the trip to suit our physical abilities. It was perfect and he went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable at all times on the trip. A highlight for both of us was eating with a local Amazigh family after the trip. It was at once humbling and very enjoyable to eat with a local family in their own home. The children were very engaging and we showed them photos of our grandchildren, our guide translated so that we could converse effectively which made it so much more fun. A most memorable trip which will live with us forever.
All in all we had an amazing time from start to finish and we will be certain to return to this lovely, vibrant and interesting country. We never felt unsafe and felt able to explore without worry as a result. Thank you to all at Sunway! Regards and thanks Gavin & Gerry February 2018

Algarve, Portugal Holiday

Kusadasi Holiday
We travel annually with Sunway to Turkey and have done so with a long time. It's a bit of an ordeal travelling from our home in East Cork to Dublin as Cork flights no longer exist, as I believe that people are afraid to travel to Turkey. It's a pity because Kusadası is a beautiful, safe and welcoming place with much to see and do and is definitely safer than any City or town in Ireland. I would like to say a special thanks to Sunway's customer care team who are always very helpful, kind and courteous on phone or email. I would especially like to thank Sunway's Rep at Golden Day Wings Hotel, Aoife Darby. She is an absolute diamond and goes above and beyond her duties to ensure guests enjoy their stay. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Kusadası even if we have to fly again from Dublin again thanks to Sunway's brilliant staff for making our trips abroad so memorable. NCL Epic Cruise Holiday
I've just returned from our weeks cruise from Barcelona with NCL. I just wanted to thank Dawn Sunway's cruise specialist for all her help and information when we booked this at the Holiday World fair back in January. Dawn gave us great advice about booking as this was our first cruise. The cabin location was ideal as she said it would be. I think this was a great starter cruise and I got more feedback on board from fellow cruisers and I think I would book NCL Epic again. Freestyle cruising seems to be the way to go, for us anyway. The entertainment on board was outstanding and the staff were very attentive. The only place it fell down a bit was at the Waves bar but that was down to being so busy all the time. All the other bars and restaurants were ideal. We didn't do any of the ships excursions but at the ports we used public transport and local bus companies to see the sights at a fraction of the cost. We were also very lucky with the weather as the sun shone every day. We only saw rain yesterday morning in Barcelona when we docked. Again thanks for all your help and hopefully we'll see you again in January at the Holiday Fair to check out next year's adventure. Deirdre December 2017

Sorrento Holiday

Fuerteventura Holiday
Myself and my 18-year old daughter are just back from a great holiday in Oasis Dunas Apartments in Corralejo in Fuerteventura. I would just like to let you know that, as it was our first experience of a package sun holiday abroad, it was a great holiday.
I would like to let you know that our rep in Fuerteventura, Eileen, was fantastic! She was very helpful and knowledgeable about everything on our holiday & organised 4 excursions for us, all of which we enjoyed thoroughly and everything happened exactly as Eileen had explained to us that it would happen, which was very important to us as first-time nervous travellers in a foreign country! She was always there when she said she would be and came to the airport on our departure day & thoroughly explained everything there too!
Please pass on our thanks and gratitude to Eileen for helping us make the most of our holiday and have brilliant memories forever!
Also I would like to thank Amanda in Cassidy Travel in Pavilions, Swords, for helping us choose this holiday, as we had no idea where to go & she guided us in the right direction for Fuerteventura, which was the perfect destination which suited us best, a job very well done, Amanda!

Kusadasi
I'm ashamed to say it's been 20 years since I've been to Turkey, Kusadasi in particular and wow has it changed for the better I might add! A noticeable change was seeing Turkish families, couples and teenagers out for dinner, drinks and shopping, something I never saw before. We often dined with locals and tourist alike which felt authentic and familiar. Our hotel, Golden Day Wings Hotel, stood over the marina with a beautiful sunset to be seen every night, and some mornings we were treated to a cruise ship docking into port, what a sight! This 4 star hotel was more than I was expecting with its modern rooms and excellent waiting staff, not to mention the entertainment team that keep us laughing at the pool each day. In the evenings the marina offers modern restaurants and bars along with amazing bargains to be had in the form of handbags and more handbags! Or head to Kusadasi centre where the local armed police are visible but jovial, especially with my son who high fived them on more than one occasion! The shopping here is a bargain hunter's mecca, with anything from jewellery to bags to trainers, be prepared to haggle! I also feel I need to mention the standard of food in Kusadasi, you could easily compare it to any restaurant here in Dublin, the only difference is the excellent value for money! Our family holiday came to an end in the very security conscience Izmir Airport, where I was impressed to see security scanning as you arrive in the airport, and once again after you are checked in, all done within minutes. I won't be leaving it another 20 years to return to Tukey that's for sure, there's already talk of next year. #sunwaylovesfamilies #sunwaymemories Hazel June 2017

Western Med Cruise on-board Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas
Just a brief word of thanks for all your help with our recent holiday. I must confess to being a hypocrite. I always swore I would never ever go on a cruise. However the entire experience was amazing. Not in any particular order the staff, the food, the service, the on board facilities were top drawer. Lanzarote
After all the last minute packing we were ready to go. The flight over was great. All the staff on the flight were very nice and this was the same on the flight coming home. We were greeted by your rep at the airport and shown to our bus and we were in our in accommodation within half an hour. The suite itself was lovely, it had one bedroom with travel cot and fold up bed the baby. The kitchen had all that we needed to if we were to have gone self-catering, but our package was B&B. There was also a place outside the suite to have a BBQ, you could rent these out from reception.
The food in the Hyde Park Lane for breakfast was nice and it was ideal to have with the two young kids. They had various cereals, porridge, a selection of different breads and meats and there was also plenty of fruit and yogurts. They also had a hot food section with eggs, bacon, sausage, Hash brown & beans, but I tried to stay away from all this. :-) Also they had pancakes one morning, I couldn't resist. :-) There are two pools in the Hyde Park Lane. One of them had a little slide in the baby pool and the playground was beside this pool. The pool bar was situated at this pool too and there was always a Life Guard on duty at both pools. All the staff in the hotel where really nice and always helpful. They had an onsite supermarket which had all the basics you would need, it was a bit dearer than the local supermarkets. There was a washing machine on site beside the supermarket to which was €2 for a token which we used once.
The accommodation was about a 15 minute walk down to the start of the strip in the New Town or if you went the other direction it was around twenty minutes over to Matagorda to all the shops and restaurants over there. The Old Town of Puerto del Carmen was about an hour's walk we did this one day and got a taxi back it was only €5. We went to the Aqua Park in Costa Teguise and the kids had a great time. They had something for all ages in this park. We went to the Rancho Texas Country BBQ night it was definitely worth the visit. Then later in the week we went to the Rancho Park in the daytime to the Zoo, and this was also a great day out with plenty of shows on, sea lion, dolphin, eagle and parrot shows. They also had a little mini water park for the end of the day with a couple of slides. On another day we rented out some bikes for a couple of hours. There is a lovely cycle track that runs from Arrecife where the airport is, all along the beach through Matagorda up to the start of the New Town of Puerto Del Carmen. We had a great laugh on our Family Flintstone Bike (this is what it was called :-)) it was €10 for one hour or €15 for two hours. As you can see we got through a lot in our week there and we had a really great time. I just want to say thank Sunway so much again. We had a great family holiday. I would DEFINITELY go back to Lanzarote and stay in Hyde Park Lane Bungalows Again. Darren May 2017

Royal Caribbean's Vision of the Seas
Royal Caribbean's Vision of the Seas was fantastic - it held a total of 2100 people but you still felt like you were getting a personalised service and it never felt overcrowded.
The staff went above and beyond for every passenger always smiling and making sure every customer was happy this really made the cruise so enjoyable nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing on board they had every selection of food for every taste bud from a carvery dinner , Indian to fish and all the little mini desserts it was hard not to want to try a piece of everything they had to offer.
Entertainment on board was great from west end shows in the theatre to piano playing in the schooner bar but my all time favourite was the karaoke which was on every night in the enchanted lounge.
If you fancied a late drink and a boogie we had the nightclub on the 11th floor which was a great way to end the night.
We were staying in an interior room on deck 3 - the room was great - plenty of room with a dressing table area and a little corner couch and a bathroom with shower.
I would have no problem staying in an interior room again.
Another highlight of the cruise was going to Athens and see one of the 7 wonders of the World the Acropolis it was amazing to see and the views over Athens when you climbed to the stop were breathtaking.
All in all we had an amazing time met some great people seen so many places would definitely recommend it.
I would highly recommend Sunway's cruise department and cannot wait to go on my next cruise. Alison January 2017

Lapland Holiday
I wish to say thank you for an amazing holiday to Lapland we had last Sun/Mon. From start to finish it was great. My family made many happy memories and we would love to go again. Unfortunately my son is sick and was unable to come with his 2 sisters, he spent the night in Lauralynn in Dublin and had a lovely time there. Hopefully please god we will get to bring him next year. Sorrento Holiday
I have just returned from a holiday in Sorrento and I wish to express my appreciation to your representative Jill. She was so professional, helpful and a joy to deal with. She took us on a walking tour for two hours the day after we arrived and showed us everything we needed to know. On our return home, she stayed beside us in the queue at the check-in desk until every person was checked in. She went above and beyond what we expected and I would appreciate if you would show our appreciation to her. She was also great fun to be with. Sorrento Holiday
We have just returned from a fantastic sunny 7 days break in Sorrento with the world's No. 1 holiday rep who goes by the name of Jill. Kusadasi, Turkey Holiday
Just a short note to say a big Thank You for a great week in Turkey, returning last Saturday - I travelled a lot through Sunway when Paula McCarthy was in Kilnamanagh but haven't used you recently. However, I'm glad that I did return as I had a great week in Turkey and can't recommend your rep on the ground Aoife highly enough as she took everything in her stride and made everyone feel so welcome. I would also like to commend the staff in the Golden Day Wings Hotel for their beyond the call of duty attitude. Fuerteventura Holiday

Fuerteventura Holiday
I have just returned from a week's holiday to Fuerteventura staying in Oasis Dunas Apartments. We arrived late Saturday night on Sunday morning my son realized he left his ipod on the plane. We went to see our rep Eileen to whom was so helpful she said she would see what she could do to retrieve the iPod. On Wednesday she left a note in our apartment to say she had the iPod that Chris the other rep had collected it from the airport my son was delighted as all his music was on it. I just have to say I have travelled a lot and to find two reps that were very helpful and good at their job and willing to help was great to see. Menorca Holiday
We are just back from a week away in Menorca and it was fabulous!! Villa Magnolia was in such a nice quiet location, it was really private and so relaxing - we just pottered from sunbed to pool and back again. The location was great - so close to the supermarket and a handy walk down to the 'action' at the port :-). It was absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Sorrento, Italy Holiday
We have just returned from Sorrento after having a great holiday. Sunway's local representative Jill was an absolute gem in the way she provided support and local information. The walk about on our first day was a novel way of getting to know the area and the local specialities and loads of free samples. Sorrento, Italy Holiday
Just returned from our week in Sorrento with Sunway travel and to say it was amazing is an understatement. We were met by our rep Jill who took every passenger under her arm and looked after us all so well. She took us on a guided walking tour of the important places to see and book on the day after our arrival. She is a mine of information and has a great sense of humour. Our hotel was brilliantly located with exceptional standards throughout and the staff were so so friendly and helpful. On our departure our rep Jill stayed in the check in area of Naples airport to ensure everyone got on board and chatted incessantly with all the passengers. Tulip Time Rivercruise Holiday
I just thought I'd drop you a quick line to let you know how things went with the cruise... Well, I'm now officially hooked on the 5-star river cruise notion. Overall, it was a great way to see a country/countries - moving around with your hotel, not having to worry about where or what you're going to eat and waking up in a new place every day. The weather was cool but mostly sunny and it was a very sociable holiday, meeting lots of interesting, mostly older people from North America and Australia. The tours were very good - sometimes it was a bit too intense for my liking; reminded me of a press trip. In any case, I opted out of a few of the trips and cycled as much as I could, which is a great way of having a look around. One thing that I was expecting to see were a lot of tulip fields from the boat as we went along. I didn't mind that because I'm not all that interested in flowers and I was much more fascinated at the massive level of industrial traffic on the waterways we navigated - I never realised, for example, that so much coal was still being transported on huge steel barges. The best tour for me was probably the Kinderdijk with all the old windmills. It was so picturesque and it was incredibly fascinating to learn about the sheer quantity of water that the Dutch have to constantly pump out of their country every day. Overall, the food and catering was really good - sometimes superb - and I loved every minute of it. So, thanks once again for your help. It was a thoroughly enjoyable trip for both me and my wife (she's an artist and she loves all flowering things). Mr & Mrs Power April 2016

Lanzarote Holiday Holiday
I cannot compliment Sunway enough. I have taken Sunway holidays in the past and was very impressed, but this trip was out on its own. From the start to the finish, from the hotel to the organised trips and the advice from our rep Linda, all was fabulous. The hotel could not have been better, great location, loads to do, suited every age group, excellent staff. Food was amazing and suited all tastes and all dietary requirements were catered for. I can see and understand from people I know why they go back time and time again. It was my second time, my first having been 8 years ago and self-catering. We took a one day tour of the island, which was very informative and well organised. The Ranch night is without doubt a must do, yee haw all the all the way, again so well organised and such fun we had. The markets another must, well or the girls anyway... The holiday also afforded me time with my nephews, one is my God Child, so this was extra special. If it were not for Sunway I would have not been afforded this opportunity. They loved every minute of the holiday and were entertained from the time they got up until they went to bed. They did the half day trip around the island, the ranch night and submarine trip, not to mention all the kid's club activities. Just returned from a Sunway holiday in Estoril, Portugal. We stayed at the Eden Estoril. This resort allowed us to have the best holiday to date. Your rep Tania was really helpful and professional. The hotel was ideally located between Estoril and Cascais and really well managed. The proximity to Lisbon and train frequency is fabulous. The promenade runs for miles with spectacular views of the Atlantic. Our vacation coincided with Fado singer Anna Mouro performing outdoors in Cascais. This was the icing on the cake for us. Sorrento Holiday

Kusadasi, Turkey Holiday
I had to e-mail and compliment Sunway on the improvements in Sea Pearl Hotel. We were there for a week and came home last night. The hotel is so good. The beds are very comfortable, entertainment really improved and the facilities second to none. The issue of sunbeds was rectified during our stay with ads going up to warn people that their unused towels would be removed.....which they were. Well done Sea Pearl! Sorrento Holiday
I spent a fabulous week in Sorrento at the beginning of the season (flew out on Saturday, May 30, 2015). I booked it last minute through the Sunway website and was travelling on my own.
I just wanted to let you know that the Sunway Rep Jill in Sorrento is brilliant. She was so kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. I was travelling on my own but was made to feel very much at ease and knew that she was only a phone call away. In fact as a result of her guided walking tour of Sorrento (best welcome meeting ever), I got to know other people on the trip and always had someone to meet up with. Even after spending so much time with the group on the Sunday of her guided walk, she still had time to spend with us all individually and she also showed me around a bit more on my own. This was all carried out on top of her normal hotel visits. She really did go above and beyond the call of duty.
I have travelled with Sunway on several occasions - Lanzarote and Sicily and I have always found the reps to be very good (the lady in Sicily is also excellent - she was there when I was there in September 2012). But on other occasions I was usually travelling with or meeting friends or family. Jill was by far the best rep and that was not because I was on my own. I saw the time and the effort she put into her dealings with the other members of the group, some of whom had mobility or illness issues or some who just had a lot of queries. In fact I also saw her helping other Irish holiday makers who were not travelling with Sunway but Jill still provided directions and information.
I'm sorry it's taken me so long to provide this feedback and know that we are well into the season but I really wanted to let you know. I have finally sent Jill a text to thank her and had a lovely response from her. I am lucky that I can sometimes go on holidays last minute and I know that I was very lucky to get such a good deal, last minute for one person to Sorrento. The weather was fabulous and it's such a beautiful place. As a result of my experience with Jill, I would have no problem booking another Sunway package as a solo traveler... I also heard one Sunway holiday maker tell Jill that she had made their trip. She certainly helped to make mine. Ms. A. L. June 2015

Sorrento Holiday
I have recently returned from a 7-night break in Sorrento. This was my first time holidaying through 'Sunway', and also my first package holiday. I am emailing to say how impressed I was, in particular with Jill, our representative in Sorrento. She was very clear in informing us of the routine for each part of the holiday included in the package (transfers, collections, hotel visits etc.) and was so knowledgeable about the local area. She brought us on a walking tour the morning after we arrived which was so beneficial in helping us become familiar with the area. Thanks to her, by Sunday afternoon, we had a huge amount of recommendations for places to eat and specialty shops as well as general local knowledge. Jill also visited our hotel that evening (which made booking day-trips so convenient), was present at our collection-point one of the mornings, remained with the group during check-in at departures and, although we thankfully didn't need to, ensured she was contactable at all times if necessary. Sorrento Holiday
We travelled with Sunway to Sorrento on May 30th and as usual had a lovely time in the Plaza. We were greeted by almost everyone - at reception, the dining room and housekeeping staff as if we were long lost friends.
No holiday in Sorrento would be complete without Jill's personal attention to detail. The Sunway folder in the hotel is a mine of information - the culinary habits of the Napoli region: the story of Pompeii and Herculaneum, the canonisation of Giovanni Moscati, the origins of the region and much more. In my view she must be an Honorary Historian of the Napoli region. Her tour of the city on the Sunday is an integral part of the holiday and I counted 25 people with us on the tour. Unless one has had the pleasure it would be difficult to know how a better flavour of Sorrento could be fitted into two hours. Synopsis - Flavouring limoncello, a visit to the gardens overlooking the bay, making cameos from coral, sampling local ice cream, having some local chocolate, Rosetta showing the ladies how to fit/tie a silk scarf/stole... and I could go on. In the middle of the holiday a guest broke their arm - Jill had to come to the rescue as the couple were not au fait with how the hospital system worked. The fact that she had almost lost her voice did not inhibit Jill from doing her normal rounds. I have heard Sunway on the radio mentioning the quality of your staff and Jill bears out that statement 100%. We always travel with Sunway - you definitely get what you pay for. Mr. A.B. June 2015

I received what I can only describe as an exemplary, first class customer treatment from James Fleming. I had a lengthy list of questions and concerns, each of which James patiently addressed in turn. He also contacted me by email with further information and rang me back a number of times with follow up material which I had requested. Directly as a result of his professionalism and helpfulness, I booked a trip plus optional excursions to the value of more than 1,600 euro. While on the holiday, I met people who booked the same trip viva other travel companies and quite a high percentage of them were unhappy with the level of service that they had received from the companies while I was very happy with that given by Sunway/James. Lanzarote Holiday
I travelled to Lanzarote on Saturday 30th August and stayed at the Fariones hotel. This was recommended by my local travel agent and through Breda who works there I can only say it was most fabulous. They were everything your brochure said and more. Breda was most helpful and gave me as much time as I needed to make up my mind. She did recommend this hotel and we were delighted she did. Our rep Kelly was also fabulous. Nothing was a problem to her. We were staying next door to a family with 3. This would not have been a problem if we had small children but we were all adults who had booked a holidays relax and sleep. Kelly when she heard we had a problem sorted it out straight away. She checked back twice to see that all was now in order (as it was). I would like her to know that we really appreciated her assistance and concern. I unfortunately left my reading classes on the plane for 40 mins when we landed in Dublin until some steps could be located or some staff to get us off. When I phone Sunway in Dublin airport this I was greeted by a lovely girl called Hilary who explained that it may not be possible to locate them but she would try. That is all anybody can expect. She was most helpful and I really appreciated that. I will travel back to Lanzarote and to the Fariones and will travel with Sunway. Sorrento Holiday
I recently travelled to Sorrento with Sunway. I had the absolute pleasure of being looks after by your rep Jill. Her attention to detail and excellent organisation skills were second to none. Lanzarote, Puerto del Carman Holiday
We had a fantastic time in Lanzarote and stayed in the Puerto Carman Hotel. We arrived last Saturday 23rd and stayed for a week. We were originally booked to travel to Shannon but was a problem with the airline operators so were transferred to Cork. This was handled so well. Our stay was fantastic even though there was issues with some other residents the Sunway reps were fantastic even right up to us checking in for our flights home yesterday. This is our second time booking with Sunway and already looking forward to booking out trop with Sunway again next year just as soon as your 2015 brochure goes online. In these modern days of booking flights/accommodation separately I would highly recommend people look to tour operators especially Sunway for their value for money and assistance at all times. Santa Ponsa
It's been a hectic week since our party of 7 arrived home from our trip to Santa Ponsa on the 28th of June. I would not be one to commend a person if it was not due, but Bernie deserves this honour. She without a doughty made out holiday a whole lot more enjoyable. Having returned from a great holiday from Sorrento on August 27th, I simply have to give credit to your amazing rep Jill. She was a real, warm person and not someone with a jaded, false smile as we've encountered in the past. She was funny and friendly and yet professional. A perfect balance. Due to a mix up, we missed our bus to Vesuvius (our fault!) and Jill solved the problem and not only that, she arrived at our hotel, Londra, the following morning to take us to our bus stop for that days tour. Route 66 Tour
We, my mother, daughter and I had a wonderful experience on Route 66. It was a very informative, enjoyable trip and may I add that most of this was attributed to our guide. Apart from a 3+ hours flight delay, what an amazing holiday - a fabulous island, remarkable things to see and do (Etna, Siracuse, Savoca, Castelmola, Taormina, Greek and Roman ruins a plenty...), incredible food, lovely people and driving at a completely new depth of inability...! Really, we all had a super time and no complaints...! Quite the opposite, Valerie is a truly lovely lady, the best and most helpful holiday rep I have come across - ever. Proactively told us what we needed to know even if we didn't ask while at the same time not pushy. I don't know if you do a Rep of the Year award, but if you do, I nominate her...
