Tuscany, Italy Holidays

Tuscany, the birthplace of the Renaissance. A region encrusted with the jewels of culture and history. Florence, Siena, Pisa are all names that conjure thoughts of great art and artists. And today Tuscany is still the vibrant heart of Italy. It is home to SEVEN UNESCO world heritage sites and attracts visitors from the rest of Italy and the world all year round who come to savour the Citta di Arte. Food and wine are also what make this part of Italy famous. Who hasn't sipped a cheeky Chianti and thought of walking through the fertile vineyards that produced something so wonderful? In the Val D'Orcia, you can do just that. Wine tasting and walking tours of the vineyards are always popular. Tuscany is also a byword for amazing olive oil and you'll certainly be sampling plenty as it is a staple of so many delicious Italian dishes.

Although the countryside is stunning, with rolling hills and scenery to take your breath away there are also two amazing beaches to be enjoyed. Viareggio is a traditional Italian seaside location. It has almost 10km of sand and a buzzy, welcoming atmosphere. While Forte Dei Marmi is a more exclusive and upmarket location. It is beautifully set between the Mediterranean and the mountains.

Tuscany has been welcoming visitors for centuries and continues to do so. It has so much to offer that one visit may not be enough!

Destination Highlights:

● History and culture abound
● Exciting cities
● Stunning countryside ideal for walking and cycling
● Food lover's paradise
● Amazing wines and vineyards
● Two excellent beaches
