Positano

Sorrento

Positano has the power to seduce the most jaded of travellers. Pictures and postcards will never do justice to this most alluring of towns. It seems to grow vertically from its perfect pebble beach up into the craggy coastline. The pastel-coloured buildings seem to have been painted by Nature herself. And beyond, the verdant tree-shrouded Monti Lattari completes a picture of utter beauty. There is much to see and savor in the town and beyond.

You can visit the Roman Archaeological Museum for your history hit before relaxing by the sea on the Spiaggia Grande. Or take a trip out to Li Galli (the island of the Sirens). If you still have the energy, take one of the many scenic walks that lead out of town and up into the Monti Lattari. The most well-known of these paths is the Oasis of Vallone Porto which might ask a lot from your legs but is so well worth the effort.

On your return, you'll have no difficulty in finding the very best in Campanian cuisine. Positano will stay with you long after you've left Positano.

Transfer from Naples airport approx. 80 minutes.
