Paco de Arcos is a beautiful resort only 18km from the centre of Lisbon. It is located in the municipality of Oreias. There are several beaches to choose from including Carcavelos Praia, Praia Paco de Arcos and Praia de Laje. Torres Beach is another nearby beach very suitable for families.

Paco de Arcos has many traditional restaurants as well as international cuisine. Paco de Arcos is a great location to explore the Oreias region and of course Lisbon itself.

Car hire is available but excellent public transport means you can explore without worrying about parking.

There are several notable places to visit. For the kids, there's Quantum Amusement Park approx 10 mins to the north of the resort. Across the bay, there's also Fun Parque. Poetas Park is a stunning collection of gardens and sculptures dedicated to Portuguese poets. The Quinta Real de Caxias is another beautifully laid out garden park. Of course, Lisbon itself is only 20 minutes by taxi or the frequent Cascais-Lisbon train line. Here is exciting history and architecture, amazing food and wonderful shopping.
