Kos Town

Kos

History, culture and fun
● Kos Town has it all. Even its own beach (if you don't mind a few pebbles). The capital of the island, Kos Town is steeped in history and is etched with remnants of its Hellenistic, Roman and Crusader past. But if your head is firmly in the present then start your day with a strong coffee in Eleftherias Square and get going. The square is the buzzy centre of the town and is a great place to plan your day or people watch for a while. Then explore the town or head down to Zouroudi beach just outside the Medieval gates to chill.

The palm-lined harbour is a beautiful part of town to wander around while you think about lunch or dinner. It's buzzy but everyone is laid back and there's a relaxed atmosphere which you'll find throughout the town.

Of course when the evening comes Kos Town has no equal. If you want to party you've come to the right place. Clubs, bars, restaurants and tavernas are vibrant and fizzing with life. That's not to say that you can't find a quiet spot to enjoy your night
● not everyone is on holidays and the locals know where to go for a more relaxed evening. Explore and you'll find what suits you. Kos Town really does offer up a cornucopia of enjoyment for the jaded traveller looking to recharge.

Transfer from Kos airport approx. 40 mins.
