Lloret de Mar is another of The Costa Brava's gems. It's been a popular destination since the 1950's and has all the amenities you'd expect from an excellent resort. Lloret has a number of Blue Flag beaches and a wide range of water sports.

If beach life becomes a little boring then stretch your legs on one of the many coastal footpaths that give you a gentle workout and delightful views. In town you can wander for a few hours among the hundreds of shops bagging a bargain or two before sampling a delicious Catalonian or International dish for lunch or dinner. Water World Lloret is a very popular attraction that will keep all the kids (big and small) happy for hours and it's only 2km from town. In the evening the shops stay open and the bars and clubs come alive. Lloret will satisfy even the jaded traveller with its charm and vitality.
