Kontokali

Corfu, Greece

Kontokali is a village located 4.8 km north of Corfu Town on the gulf of Gouvia. It is named after Cristoforo Condocali, a Venetian statesman who was awarded the estate after his successful participation in the Battle of Lepanto.

Kontokali is the first tourist resort you meet travelling from Corfu Town. The small village is centred on a narrow street lined with a few shops, bars, and restaurants. Nightlife is minimal. The lovely sandy beach is a magnet for visitors. This beach belongs to the Kontokali beach hotel but permits other users to use the beach without charge. To the left of the hotel, there is a smaller beach mainly used by the locals. Ideal for couples and families looking for a quiet Holiday.

Transfer time from Corfu airport is approx. 15 minutes.
