Quarteira is an excellent choice for an Algarve holiday. A fantastic blue flag beach, excellent facilities, A great range of restaurants and shops all contribute to making it a resort for all the family.

Vilamoura is only 10 minutes away which means that the golfer can get their fairway fix easily while the rest can enjoy the shopping and wonderful restaurants around the marina or perhaps take a boat out to do some dolphin watching.

Evenings are a little more laid back in Quarteira but as always the buzzier Vilamoura is close by as is the more hedonistic Albufeira. During the day there is a charming fish and food market if you're taking a break from the beach and for the family, there's the Aquashow Water Park right in the town.
